Finally after more than a week I got some new pictures. Yesterday night I arrived in Beijing - first things - Forbidden City and Tiananman Square. It was pretty crowded, more than I expected. Off the main path was much less people. At the end of the day I had to wait for the flag to be taken down (I guess it’s a daily ceremony) because the whole pedestrian traffic was blocked. Unfortunately after that, I couldn’t get to the Tiananman Square - they were only letting traffic out.
So for now just picture - I’ll try to put some text together.

Somehow it’s easier for me take hundreds of shots than write something about those I’ve already taken. So next series…
Today with help of Guest Relation Officer, Ms Katya I was able to get to the roof of Holiday Inn, just oposite of Zhongshan Square, where the Mao Statue is:
- I was right below the Holiday Inn neon.
The view was nice
Later I went to the square (which is actually a roundabout) - group of women was dancing
and on the other side (I’ll should have more details tomorrow) an old man was painting (I mean writing) on the tiles
This is a proof of Polish-Chinese friendship - and no, I haven’t been drinking (yet)

Wednesday morning and quick change of plans - plane ticket, hotel booked, and Thursday evening I’m in Shenyang, about 600km East from Bejing. Unfortunately I won’t have time to visit Bejing.
Anyway - few pictures from my trip to buy some beer:
Tomorrow I’ll check the Imperial Palace, and maybe few more places.

This weekend was sunny, so I look like native American. I visited few temples around Hangzhou and hiked around.
No pictures from Saturday so far, I’ll update this soon.
I started and Lingyin Temple - crowded, everybody carrying a bag of joss sticks. › Continue reading
